I’m not a coffee drinker so I don’t love to meet for coffee as a way to catch up, brainstorm on potential projects, etc. I would prefer to meet for a walk, work out side by side at a fun class, or even go for a jog along the lake.
Besides being on the go, I am much more productive when I’m moving. So whether I’m catching up with a girlfriend about her new job or trading ideas, I would prefer to do it while being active as opposed to just sitting somewhere for an hour.
If you are like me and would like to trade in one of your coffee dates for a workout date leave me a message in the comments below. I would love to try the following workouts:
Brooklyn Boulders – BKB Chicago offers progressive climbing and fitness experiences while providing an unconventional platform to bring the arts, music, culture, and entrepreneurial communities together. Located in Chicago’s West Loop.
Studio Lagree – This is the method and machine that has transformed Hollywood’s hottest bodies! Effectively combining core, endurance, cardio, balance, strength and flexibility training in every move, The Lagree Fitness Method delivers results, fast. The no impact program features targeted exercises performed at a slow and controlled pace, activating slow twitch muscle fibres to build the long lean physique that has made the workout famous.
Studio Three – A revolution in Boutique Fitness. Interval Training, Cycling and Yoga. Find your balance between High-Intensity and mindful movement. Personalized service and a strong sense of community.
Flex Pilates – Flex is a boutique reformer studio located in the heart of River North. With nine reformers, each class provides hands-on, semi-private instruction. Focusing on core strength and flexibility, Flex is a unique fusion of traditional pilates and dynamic strength training to achieve a whole body workout.
Of course if you’ve wanted to try something that I didn’t list let me know. Looking forward to connecting for a fun sweat session soon!
Heidy
